SANDSTONE has been stolen from the top of several metres of farm wall in North Yorkshire.
The coping stones were taken from a wall belonging to a farm close to Skutterskelfe, in the Stokesley area on Thursday, February 20.
PC Blair Taylor, from Stokesley Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you saw any unusual activity near Skutterskelfe in the days prior to the reported theft, I ask you to contact the police straight away.
“I also need to speak to anyone who may have been offered stone matching that which has been stolen and urge them to get in touch as soon as possible.”
Anyone who can help should contact Stokesley Police on 101 and ask for Blair Taylor. Alternatively, information can be emailed to blair.taylor@northyorkshire.pnn.police.uk
