Bedale Antiquarian and Second-hand Book and Post Card Fair will take place in Bedale Hall in Bedale, North Yorkshire, on Sunday, March 9, from 10am until 4pm. Thirty stalls have been pre-booked by dealers from all over the north of England providing a vast amount of unusual out of print books and old postcards. Homemade refreshments are available all day. The event is wheelchair-friendly with ample car parking at the north end of the Market Place. Admission is £1 per adult, children under 14 free. MARIE CURIE VOLUNTEERS: Stokesley Fundraising Committee for Marie Curie Cancer Care is seeking people with a couple of hours a week to spare who would be willing to help with their Daffodil Appeal Collections on the High Street on Friday, February 28 and in the Springfield Co-op on Friday, March 7 and Saturday, March 8. Funds raised locally are used locally by the charity.
