POLICE are appealing for information about a burglary in which mountain bikes were stolen from the outbuildings of a house.
The theft happened from a property on Wheatlands, Great Ayton between 11pm on Wednesday, February 12 and 6am on Thursday, February 13.
The thieves stole two mountain bikes, a silver Rock Hopper and a silver Giant Rincon, which have a joint value of about £1,000.
PC Blair Taylor, from Stokesley Safer Neighbourhood Team, said: “If you saw any suspicious activity in the Wheatlands area of Great Ayton around the time of the burglary I ask you to contact the police straight away.
“I am also keen to speak to anyone who has been offered the bikes and ask them to get in touch.”
