A BIKER was seriously hurt when his machine collided with a car on a main road in North Yorkshire.
The 35-year-old motorcyclist, from York, collided with a white Vauxhall Corsa on the A59 near Knaresborough at the junction with Station Road, at Goldsborough.
He suffered injuries to his ribs, pelvis and arm but his injuries are not believed to be life-threatening and he is now being treated at Leeds General Infirmary. The driver of the car, a 50-year-old local woman, was badly shaken by the incident but was otherwise uninjured.
The incident happened at around 6am on February 19 and police are appealing for witnesses, in particular anyone who witnessed the collision or saw either vehicle prior to the incident.
