BEDALE Town Council is encouraging residents to get fit with a special range of outdoor equipment for adults.
The new fitness equipment will be officially launched on Saturday February 15 at 10am in Bedale Park.
The big Lottery Fund has given a grant of £10,000 for the equipment which is for use by people aged over 14.
The four pieces which include a hand bike station for disabled users has been installed by Streetscape.
A fitness instructor, Miles Johnson, will be on hand at the official opening to give tips on how to get the best use out of the apparatus which also includes a tines bike, and a group exercise station which can be used by four people at the same time.
Mayor Amanda Coates said:”We really would like to see local people at the opening. It will give them a chance to see how to get the best use out of this equipment.”
