EQUESTRIAN FOCUS: The annual meeting of the British Horse Society North West committee will take place at Ripley Town Hall on Tuesday, October 15, at 7.30pm. It will be followed by two talks, on saddle-making and fitting and the Alexander Technique, as applied to riding. Home-made refreshments will be available. Non-members are welcome and entry costs £3.
