TWO years after artist Sally Cutler created a large-scale artwork of the heads of 16 recognisable figures in the town, from a former Olympic bobsleigher to the town’s traffic warden.
Now the 16-block hand-printed lino cut with old printers type detail will be show from Monday, June 10 to Sunday, August 18 at the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in Piccadilly, London.
It was selected from more than 12,000 entries to go on show in the exhibition.
Ms Cutler said: "I am so excited this piece has been selected.
“It was an absolute joy making it and working with the people of Richmond and The Station, and now I hope people from all over the country will be able to see what an interesting and varied place Richmond is and get to know some of its characters."
