A vintage fashion show and exhibition featuring a wedding dress from the 1880’s is being held to help raise funds for Snape Village Institute. The Institute committee has recruited the help of many local people who have been searching through their wardrobes for vintage fashions including dresses, coats, hats, shoes, bags and other artefacts and accessories. The fashion show will be held on Saturday June 29 with an exhibition of the collection on Sunday June 30. For tickets contact Sarah Lowe on 01677 470444.
A series of events is being held to mark the 125th anniversary of Bedale Methodist Church. The first will be a concert on Saturday June 8 with the Keighley Vocal Union Singers, on Sunday June 8 the Rev David Wood, minister for Aiskew during the 1980’s will lead the service at 10.30am in the Chapel.
