A RUGBY club has celebrated the end of its season with a presentation evening attended by former England and British Lions player John Bentley.
After presenting the junior awards at Richmond Swimming Pool, Mr Bentley attended a black tie event at Mainsgill Farm for the senior section presentations.
Mr Bentley said he was delighted to be asked to present the awards at the club, and wished it will in the future with the development of a new clubhouse and changing facilities.
Nick Hunter, Richmondshire Rugby Union Football Club president said: “It was a great day and night for everyone involved in the club and it was made even more special with John presenting the awards and giving a very amusing after dinner speech.”
