A £5,000 donation has been presented to a rabbit rescue centre in North Yorkshire.
Today (Friday, May 24) the store manager of Pets at Home in Darlington visited Bunny Burrows near Richmond to present funds that should help the centre fund neutering and vaccination costs.
The money was awarded by the Support Adoption for Pets charity, which supports animal welfare charities and rescue centres in the UK.
It has adoption centres in nearly all Pets at Home’s stores, which have a range of pets such as rabbits, hamsters and other small animals which often need a new home due to a change in their owner’s circumstances.
