A RICHMONDSHIRE-based team is training hard for a charity trek.
Ashley Wells, Jim McRobert, Paul Mort and Stephen Walker have already clocked up more than 1,000 miles in training since January for the Aching Limbs - Going for Gold Oxfam TrailTrekker Challenge.
The challenge takes places on June 1 and 2. Starting at Skitpon, walkers attempt either 40km, 60km or 100km in just 30 hours.
The longest route takes in Malham Cove, Horton-in-Ribbledale, Buckden, Kettlewell and back to Skipton.
The team has been sponsored by the Walking Shop, in Leyburn, and Wells Chiropractic and Wellness Centre, in Richmond.
The challenge aims to raise money for Oxfam projects. The team is well on the way to raising more than £3,000 thanks to the generous support of friends and business contacts.
