NUMBERS UP: Thirsk Athletics Bowls and Cricket Club sections are jointly holding a family fun bingo event on Saturday, (May 25) at 8pm. at the clubhouse in Newsham Road, Thirsk. Tickets cost £3 per person and include bingo tickets. Barbecue food will be available and there will be a raffle too.
MUSEUM MATTERS: Thirsk Museum Society will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday (May 28), at 7.30pm at the Friends Meeting House, in Kirkgate, Thirsk. Members and non-members are welcome. During the 2012 season the museum welcomed 1,350 visitors.

ARTISTS' SHOWCASE: St Mary’s Church, Thirsk, will host an exhibition featuring the work of students who attend art classes at the town hall. The exhibition will be open daily from Saturday (May 25) to Saturday, June 8, from 10am to 4pm, except on Sundays, when it is open from noon to 4pm.
