THE Band of the Royal Air Force Regiment is to appear at a major fundraising concert in Northallerton.
They will be playing at the Forum in Northallerton on April 6 at an event in aid of the RAF Benevolent Fund.
The concert will be a commemoration for all those who served at the wartime airfield at Skipton-on-Swale, just south of the town.
And it marks a return for the band to its musical roots, as it was based at Catterick airfield – now Marne Barracks – for many years before moving to its current home at RAF Cranwell.
The concert starts at 7.30pm and tickets, at £12 o0r £10 concessions – are available from the Forum or Greensleeves music shop in Northallerton.
