INDEPENDENT businesses in Stokesley are staging an Easter egg hunt through the town centre.
Visitors to the North Yorkshire market town can pick up an egg trail map from retailers along the High Street and then begin a hunt for the Easter characters listed on the map.
Once people have ticked off all the Easter characters listed, and collected the egg stickers, the completed map can be returned to the Sky Blue Pink store on Bridge Road. There they will receive an Easter egg and entry into a prize draw. The hunt will run all this week and throughout the Easter holidays, until Sunday, April 14.
The competition is part of the national Support for Independent Retail campaign which promotes the importance of supporting independent shops.
