EGG HUNT: Richmond residential care home, Care UK’s The Terrace, in Maison Dieu, will be hosting an Easter egg hunt on Tuesday, April 2 from 2pm to 3pm.

The hunt is open to visitors and many residents have invited grandchildren and great-grandchildren to take part in the hunt in the grounds and gardens, overseen by the Easter Bunny and care home staff.

Refreshments will be available.

TEXTILE JEWELLERY: Dates for the next Tuesday afternoon jewellery classes at Dalton and Gayles Village Hall are April 16, May 14 and April 18, from 1pm to 3pm.

In April the class will crochet wire and bead bracelets; in May learn to wrap beach glass for pendants and in June hand felt flower brooches. No experience is necessary.

The total cost for the three sessions is £25, which includes all materials, tea, coffee and biscuits.

LITTER PICK: Colburn Town Council is organising a litter pick on Saturday, April 20 from 10am.

Volunteers are to meet at the village hall and bring gloves and heavy shoes.

Refreshments will be provided after the clean-up.

DANCE CLASS: Encore School of Dance in Standard Way, Northallerton, will be running Disney-themed dance workshops in the Easter holidays.

On Monday, April 8 classes will be based on Snow White, and on Thursday, April 11 the class will be based on the Jungle Book.

Classes will run from 10am until noon for children aged three to six.
