VILLAGE hall trustees are planning more live music events following the success of a concert by a live folk band.
Other Roads performed at West Witton village hall earlier this month, raising more than £500 for hall funds.
The event was the first of its kind to be held at the hall.
Organiser Grant Humphreys said he was delighted – but not surprised – the night had been a sell out.
“Other Roads have proved to be popular on previous visits to the Dales and we attracted fans of the band and their style of music from villages from Hawes to Leyburn and beyond.
“Some from further afield came and booked into local bed and breakfasts for the night.”
A further concert is being planned for the autumn.
