AN ARTIST will be running a free drop-in workshop at a museum this Easter.

Sue Gough will be at Ryedale Folk Museum on Wednesday, April 3, where she will be talking about her work and showing how she uses mark making and pattern to build up a drawing.

People will be able to have a go at some of the techniques and contribute to a large drawing on canvas between 11am and 3pm.

An exhibition of the artist’s work, entitled Marking Time, will run at the museum from March 29 until April 28.

The visitor attraction in Hutton-le-Hole near Helmsley will also be holding children’s craft activities every weekday throughout the Easter holidays and traditional games.
