A NEW support group has been set up in Northallerton to help patients with myeloma - a type of cancer arising from plasma cells which are found in the bone marrow.
The North Yorkshire Myeloma Support Group will support patients living with myeloma in North Yorkshire and the South Tees area.
The group, which will also provide a support network for patients with other blood cancers such as leukaemia and lymphoma, meets the first Thursday of every month at the Golden Lion Hotel, High Street, Northallerton. The next meeting is on April 4, 6.30pm to 8.30pm
