A BUS service to transport residents and tourists through the moors restarts on Sunday, March 24.

The North York Moors National Park’s bus network begins again on Sunday, March 24.

The Moorsbus will operate on Sundays and bank holidays from March 24 to October 27, including Good Friday and Easter Saturday.

Buses run from York, Hull, Malton, Scarborough, Middlesbrough, Thirsk and Northallerton and take visitors to the centre of the moors.

An all-day travel ticket for the moors area is £6 or £9 if travelling further afield.

People can also see the Farndale daffodils this Easter by parking in the national park carpark at Hutton-le-Hole and catching the shuttle bus, which runs every 20 minutes.

Visit the park authority’s website for more information and a timetable at: www.northyorkmoors.org.uk/moorsbus or phone 01845-597000.
