AN AMATEUR theatrical group is preparing to stage a costume drama following performances of the Calendar Girls which raised £1,700 for a cancer charity.
Masham Players donated the funds to the Wensleydale branch of Leukaemia and Lymphoma Research following three performances in Masham and two shows in North Stainley last year.
A spokeswoman for the group said it was hoped An Inspector Calls by JB Priestley would present a fresh challenge to the actors and director Kathy Boyer.
The play will be performed at Masham Town Hall, from April 4 to April 6, at 7.30pm.
Tickets available from Masham Community Office or on the door. For more information, visit mashamplayers.co.uk.
