A SPECIAL Christmas tree symbolising support for asthma sufferers has received a blessing.
Northallerton and District Lionesses held a dedication day for their Tree of Hope, which this year was in aid of Children’s Asthma UK.
The festive tree was given a blessing by the Reverend Andy Bryer and all the guests and Lionesses placed baubles on the tree to symbolise donations and messages of support.
Collections are still being raised for the charity and the total will not be known until the new year.
The tree will remain in the foyer of Hambleton Forum in Northallerton until January 3.
