A PUBLIC meeting is to be held into a plan to develop a “community resilience scheme” at Romanby, Northallerton.
The parish council is keen to develop the scheme in case of any emergency in the community – such as flooding, disaster or severe winter weather.
However to develop their plan the council needs to engage the help of local residents and local community groups and also needs to identify areas with vulnerable people and areas at risk of flooding.
The public meeting has been arranged for 7pm on November 19 at Romanby Primary School.
Anyone interested in getting involved in the plan or becoming an emergency volunteer is invited to attend.
