SNAKES ALIVE: Adults and children alike are being invited to help create giant snakes in the moors on Monday (October 29). The free activity, run by the North York Moors National Park Authority at Danby near Whitby, is part of a ‘Big Draw' campaign to encourage drawing and will involve the creation of a giant adder and grass snake from willow and cloth. It runs from 11am to 3pm and is open to all ages.
