AN award-winning five piece band will perform in a Yorkshire Dales village hall next month.
ColvinQuarmby(CORR) will play at Carperby on Saturday, November 3.
The band was voted best live act at the prestigious Hancock Awards two years ago.
Organiser Steve Sheldon said: “Their musical style stubbornly refuses to be pigeon-holed, hardly surprising when they combine guitars, drums and percussion with fiddle, cello, squeezebox and spine-tingling five part vocal harmonies - think the Beatles with a touch of The Beautiful South.”
There will be a licensed bar and all proceeds from the concert will go to the local playing fields association.
Tickets are £12 in advance or £14 on the door.
