FOLK DANCE: Mowbray Folk Dance Group will be hosting an autumn dance on Saturday, November 17 from 7.30pm until 11pm at Northallerton Town Hall. The Endeavour Ceilidh band will be playing. SPOOKY WALK: There will be a family “scary walk” followed by a disco at Brompton Village Hall on October 27. The first walk will begin at 7pm and those taking part will be given a spooky map to follow and children taking part will receive a certificate. Fancy dress is optional. Tickets are adults £2 and children £1. Money raised will go towards renovation of the village hall.
WINTER CONCERT: Bedale Brass Band is to perform a winter concert for its 25th anniversary. It will take place on December 1 at St Gregory's Church, Bedale at 7pm. Tickets £5 on the door.
