FISH AND CHIPS: Plans have been unveiled for a fish and chip shop at Sizzlers Old Co-op buildings, New Front Street, Tanfield Lea. An application has been submitted to Durham County Council seeking permission to change the use of the building from a cafe. Consideration is pending.
PERMISSION REFUSED: Planning officers have refused permission for the use of an existing mobile home as permanent residential accommodation at Langley Meadow Farm, Burnhope Road, Maiden Law, near Lanchester.
PACT MEETING: A Police and Community Together (Pact) meeting will be held at Earl House, Earl Street, Northlea, Seaham. Residents of Northlea, Seaton and Eastshore Village are invited. A member of the neighbourhood policing team will be in attendance.
HOUSING PLANS: Planning permission has been granted for the building of a detached dwelling on a vacant plot behind Goatbeck Terrace, Langley Moor.
