A CARE home has taken delivery of a new minibus.
Abbotts Court Care Home, in Wheatley Hill, has been presented with a new mobility minibus - one of 200 being delivered to HC-One homes around the country.
The vehicle has been specifically modified for the needs of residents and has been converted so it is wheelchair accessible, with a new floor fitted to each for seat belt fixings, along with a tail lift, side step, blue internal lights for night travel, a skylight hatch and heating.
HC-One Managing Director, Pam Finnis, who recently appeared on Channel 4’s Undercover Boss, said: "The arrival of the HC-One minibus fleet is a milestone for the company.
"HC-One’s aim is to provide the kindest care in the country and enabling residents to enjoy life in the community around the home is fundamental to achieving this aim."
