IT’S all aboard for Adam Brown, as the newly qualified engineer joins Arriva permanently following a four-year apprenticeship.

Mr Brown, from Durham, has graduated from Arriva’s training programme as a mechanics specialist, gaining an NVQ level 3 and Technical Certificate in Transport Engineering Maintenance.

The 23-year-old was honoured at a ceremony on Wednesday, October 5, along with ten other former apprentices.

Lloyd Mason, engineer trainer at Arriva Bus UK, said: "It’s great to see Adam complete his apprenticeship and become a fully qualified engineer.

"He has worked extremely hard to get here and is fully deserving of this recognition."
