A POSTCARD exhibition is being held to mark the tenth anniversary of a community art group.
Sacriston Art Group organised a competition among members to come up with an original design for its landmark birthday.
Founder member Eileen Donnelly said: "The group means a lot to the village and the people who attend, so we thought it fitting that we should recognise the tenth anniversary."
The group was founded in 2001 by Mrs Donnelly, Valerie Chapman and Catherine Hall.
It meets every Wednesday from 2pm-4pm at the Fulforth Centre on Front Street in Sacriston.
Members use oils and water colours, as well as pastels, pencil and pen and ink.
The group members offer each other advice and learn from visiting tutors. New members are always welcome.
The exhibition will run at the centre for the next two weeks.
