POLICE would like speak to the witness of an arson in an east Durham public house.
A police spokesman said an unknown person entered the Shoulder of Mutton pub, in Easington Village, on December 27 last year and set fire to a plastic toilet roll holder before making off.
The fire spread and caused extensive damage to the toilets and smoke damage to other areas of the building.
Police would like to speak to the man pictured as a potential witness and not a suspect in the crime.
He has been described as aged 15 to 20 years, about 6ft tall, of slim build with a fresh complexion and straight short dark hair.
He was wearing a grey hooded top and dark jeans.
