A BOXING night will be held in aid of a Mayor’s appeal next month.
The Big Night Boxing Dinner, The Mayor’s Appeal Boxing Championship, will be held at Abbey Leisure Centre, in Pity Me, Durham, on Friday, February 4.
Proceeds will go to Diabetes UK and Durham’s St Cuthbert’s Hospice, the chosen charities of Councillor Mamie Simmons, the Mayor of Durham.
The event, sponsored by Pulman Volkswagen and Whitfields Building Services, will feature eight bouts and a four-course dinner with wine.
The dress code is smart - no jeans allowed.
Doors open at 7pm and the bar will be open until midnight.
Tickets are £45 each or £320 for a table of eight.
