A NEW silversmithing and jewellery making class is to be launched in the North-East this spring.
Hartlepool-based Teesside Silvermith, which already runs weekly classes on Monday nights at the Gilley Law community centre, in Sunderland, is to begin a Tuesday class.
The first session will be on Tuesday, April 19, from 6.30pm to 9.30pm, at the North Moor Lane facility.
Jewellery making has enjoyed a revival in recent years and the course will offer tutoring in a range of techniques.
Students will also have the chance to meet new friends with similar interests.
The cost of the class is £120 per person per term. For further details, call tutor Jon Price on 07793-737615 or email: jon@teessidesilversmith.com
