A TEENAGER has been arrested on suspicion of arson after fireworks were pushed through people’s letterboxes.
Durham Police say fireworks were shoved through at least two doors in Ludworth, near Durham.
An 18-year-old man, from the Ludworth area, was arrested on Thursday, October 28, and released on police bail pending further enquiries.
Neither incident led to any serious damage.
Meanwhile, police and fire crews were called to St Oswald’s bungalows, in Thornley, after another firework was pushed through a letterbox, at about 8.30pm on Thursday. No damage was caused.
