BARGAIN-hunters have the chance to buy some of the dresses worn on screen by television weathergirl Philippa Tomson.
The Tyne Tees presenter has donated some of her dresses to a charity shop raising funds for St Cuthbert’s Hospice in Durham City.
She said: "I wear a lot of different outfits on screen, and it can mean that clothes sit at the back of my wardrobe that I haven’t worn for years.
"I’ve spring cleaned my wardrobe and donated my clothes to the St Cuthbert’s Hospice charity shops. It’s a great way of raising vital funds for a local charity.
"I love to wear bright colours in the spring, but pastel shades can wash out my complexion so I always choose deep, rich colours like fuschia, emerald green and deep yellows.
"It’s important to know your shape and what suits it – for me, I love tailored dresses like Victoria Beckham’s range."
The presenter’s dresses are now on sale the hospice’s shop in Claypath, Durham City - one of its six retail outlets throughout County Durham.
The hospice has organised a Colour Me Beautiful fashion and style evening taking place on April 22. Tickets are £12.50 and are available on 0191 386 1170.
