BUSINESS owners will be toasting the success of their club at a wine-tasting evening next month.
Durham Business Club, which celebrates its 30th anniversary next year, is to hold its February meeting at Lanchester Wine Cellars, the leading wine merchants.
Members will enjoy a tour of the company’s state-of-the-art bottling plant in Stanley, where up to 12,000 bottles-an-hour are filled before being distributed to merchants, supermarkets and private customers across the UK.
The wine-tasting event takes place on Tuesday, February 9, with the invite open to the club’s 300 members as well as newcomers.
Christine Yule, development director at Durham Business Club, said: "Lanchester Wine Cellars has been a member of Durham Business Club for many years and in that time has grown tremendously.
"Our February meeting will be a chance for our guests to learn a little bit more about wine and what suits their own palate. It’s a good way to start the year to renew some business acquaintances and hopefully meet and build some new contacts."
