AN award winning professional photographer has extended his popular classes to two nights a week to cater for high demand.
Philip Nixon will hold the ten-session course on the comprehensive school campus in Bradford Crescent, Gilesgate, Durham, starting on Tuesday January 19 and on Thursday January 21, both starting at 7pm.
Mr Nixon said: "This term there will be a balance of theory and practical work covering a wide range of subjects such as people, landscapes, close-up, natural history, architectural and night photography.
"There are also field trips and workshops planned to support the class discussion and instruction.
"There will also be further discussion on the exciting possibilities opened up through digital photography. Come along and learn the secret of photography.’’ People can attend the first Tuesday or Thursday session under no obligation. The fee for the term is £40.
