HISTORIANS at a North-East museum are planning an exhibition to mark the 30th anniversary of the closure of the steelworks at Consett.
Beamish Museum is asking people to get involved by sharing their memories, pictures, letters and any other interesting items.
Anyone who would like to contribute is invited to visit Consett Library between 6pm and 7pm on Tuesday, January 12, when staff from the museum will be on hand to talk about the project.
The library is situated near the bus station on Victoria Road.
