A HEALTH centre is doing its bit to help people keep their New Year’s resolutions.
Healthworks, on Paradise Lane, Easington, is running a series of information sessions throughout the first week in January.
Topics include: losing weight, getting more active, stopping smoking, budgeting, family learning and healthy eating.
The New Year, New You campaign begins on Monday, January 4, between 11am and 3pm, with an information session about learning opportunities.
Stop smoking advisers will be available on Tuesday, January 5, between 9.30am and 10.30am.
Health trainers and dieticians will talk about improving wellbeing between 9.30am and 12.30pm on Wednesday, January 6.
On Thursday, January 7, a number of classes helping people to get more active will be explained, between 11am and 3pm.
Finally, financial experts will be available to talk about money on Friday, January 8, from 11am to 3pm.
Free smoothies will be available at all sessions.
Fiona Maher, Healthworks co-ordinator, said: "The new year is a great time to make changes to your life, to start getting fit, eating healthily or learn a new skill."
