FESTIVE craft ‘master classes’, all using recycled rubbish, take place at an outlet shopping park this weekend.
The free ‘family-friendly’ workshops, including decoration design and other Christmas crafts, will be held at Dalton Park, Murton, County Durham, on Saturday.
Recycling craft experts Twottodo will oversee the workshops, in the centre’s Recreate Unit, from 11am to 4pm.
All children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.
There is also a special charity book sale, with all volumes costing 50p, at the centre, from 11am - 4pm.
Proceeds will go to ‘Cash for Kids’, the bespoke North-East charity for disabled and disadvantaged children, for which more £1,500 has so far been raised.
Further information on Dalton Park’s ‘Going Green for Christmas’ events, are available via the website www.dalton-park.co.uk, or by ringing 0191-526 6157.
