A MAN has been banned from his local pub after two incidents with his sons landed him in court.
Barry Nichol 47, is not allowed back in The Black Horse in Consett for six months after the town’s magistrates imposed an exclusion order.
He was found guilty of assaulting Daniel, 20, in June and behaving in a threatening manner towards 25-year-old Robert in July.
Nichol, of John Street, Blackhill, Consett, was given a 12 month community order with Probation Service supervision and ordered to £50 compensation to Daniel and £300 in court costs.
He was fined £200 after admitting benefit fraud on October 12.
