A COMMUNITY centre is having an open day to showcase activities it offer young people.
Delves Lane Village Hall is throwing its door open on Friday 30October for children, young people and families in the area.
The event is a taster for the youth clubs which will be starting there on Monday for eight to 12 year olds and Wednesday 13 to 19 year olds.
The idea is to promote youth work services for children and young people and is involves Groundwork North East and Consett Churches Detached Youth Project.
A hall spokesman said: "The event will feature taster sessions such as juggling, nail painting, dancing, and arts and crafts that children and young people can get involved with in the future."
The event is free and will run from 1pm till 5pm everyone is welcome.
