THERE is little time left to sign up for a charity Halloween walk.
The deadline for learning disability charity Mencap’s Halloween walk on the banks of the River Wear in Durham is Wednesday, October 28.
The two-mile fancy dress parade will take place on Saturday, October 31.
Walkers will be guided by marshals in fancy dress and entertained by the Tenth Avenue Band.
Kelly Railton, regional fundraising manager at Mencap, said: "We really hope that people get involved in this event. It will be great fun and all for charity.
"All money raised will help Mencap support the 52,000 people in the region who have a learning disability to live independent lives."
Registration costs £5 for adults and £3.50 for children. To sign up, call Helen Tibbott on 0191-487-0444.
