A HOSPICE’S annual firewalk will take place next week.
Brave fundraisers will walk 20ft across burning embers to raise money for St Cuthbert’s Hospice, in Durham.
The spectacular event will take place in Durham Market Place on Wednesday, October 28.
Among those taking part will be staff of the Dynamite Pink Promotions Agency.
Cheryl McKeon, from the firm, said: "We love taking part in exciting new challenges. We’re all nervous but the rest of the team will be there to cheer us on."
Director Liz Whiteley said: "We’re all looking forward to the event, especially as the boys have been more scared to take part than the girls. They’ve been asking if they can wear shoes."
The firewalk begins with a Fight the Fear motivational session which prepares participants for the challenge.
