FOUR teenagers have been arrested on suspicion of criminal damage after two cars were broken into this morning.
Police in Peterlee were called to reports of criminal damage in Cotsford Lane, Horden, at around 8.45am.
The rear windscreens of a Nissan Juke and Ford Fiesta had been damaged.
After receiving information, officers from the Road Policing Unit stopped four teenagers in a car at about 9.30am.
All four were arrested on suspicion of criminal damage and are currently in custody.
