A WOMAN has been charged with murder following the death of a man in a house in South Tyneside.
The body of 45-year-old Paul Taylor was found at a house in Thames Avenue, in Jarrow, on Sunday.
Nicola Lee, 44, of Thames Avenue, has now been charged with murder and is due to appear at South Tyneside Magistrates’ Court tomorrow.
Police were called to the property at about 12.30am, following a report of concern for a man.
Emergency services attended and found Mr Taylor, who had injuries "consistent with a stabbing".
He was pronounced dead at the scene.
