A SCIENCE centre in the North-East is hosting activities about poo this half-term.
Events at the Life Science Centre in Newcastle take a fun look at human and animal waste from February 10 to 18.
A centre spokesman said: “It’s icky fun, but jam-packed with science and remember that everything in the Science Centre is included in your ticket.”
The Science Theatre features Number 2 - the Poo Show, with live demos that include a firing hippo bum, and the physics of toilets, an experiment on pee, poo and paper with the chance to create and invent using toilet roll tubes.
The centre’s Science Buskers’ bag of tricks will include real fossilised dinosaur poo and in the Dino Jaws exhibition there is also a massive pile of life-sized pre-historic monster poo.
Tickets for the exhibition are £13 for adults, £7.50 for children and under fours go free.
