AN annual festive charity event has raised more than £9,000 for children with disabilities.
Property firm Bradley Hall held its festive fundraiser at the Crowne Plaza in Newcastle to raise funds for Pelton-based Heel and Toe.
The charity provides free physical therapy for children with disabilities and receives no government funding.
Heel and Toe needs to raise £500,000 each year to maintain treating 125 children a week with life-changing therapy.
The money was raised through raffles and a silent auction. Donations were made by local organisations including Ramside Hall Hotel and local football clubs.
Charity chief executive Douglas Long said: “The money will make a huge impact and allow us to deliver our much-needed services to children in the North East who need it most.”
