A PUB raised almost £1000 for The Sir Bobby Robson Foundation with a family charity event.
The evening, held earlier this month at The Miners Arms, in Medomsley, near Consett was attended by Sir Bobby Robson’s widow Lady Elsie, who said she was overwhelmed by the number of people who turned up to help support the charity her late husband set up in 2008.
The night included a professional fireworks display, live music, raffle, three-course meal and barbecue to raise money for the charity.
The Miners Arms hold a family charity event every year selecting a different charity each year.
