Some of the young dancers who will compete at the National Festival of Fitness, Movement and Dance
TWO dance groups have been chosen to represent the region at a national festival.
Euphoria Dance and Northern Lights Dance groups have been selected to take part in the National Festival of Fitness Movement and Dance at the Symphony Hall, Birmingham, this Saturday (July 5).
Euphoria involves children aged nine to 13, while Northern Lights is for young people aged 14 to 25.
Dance teachers Janet Balfour and Christine Chapman are extremely proud of the teams.
The girls train at Park View Community Centre and the Parish Centre, in Chester-le-Street.
