PUPILS are staging a photography exhibition at a North-east visitor attraction.
Students from Belmont Community School, in Durham, have proudly been given their own exhibition at Durham University’s Botanic Gardens following a successful art trip.
As part of their GCSE Photography coursework, the Year 11 students were challenged to respond to the fitting theme of My North East.
The school took the students on a day-long field trip to the Newcastle Quayside, The Angel of the North and the City of Durham to give them an opportunity to make creative decisions about their photography.
The pupils developed their technical knowledge and created exciting and innovative images which are displayed at the Botanic Gardens entitled ‘Belmont Community School’s “My North East” exhibition".
